چکیده

In this study, we propose a new controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) protocol for polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) that doesn’t cause hyper stimulation syndrome (OHSS) while maintaining egg quality. We also compare the conventional GnRH antagonist PCOS with COH at our hospital, and show is more secure than protocol. Eighty-seven patients of were treated in 38 49 patients. The was based on FSH / HMG injection started 3rd day menstruation. agonist used as Triger. difference from Letrozole when E2 value became 4000 pg/ml during stimulation. addition, after collection, 2 tablets each Cabergoline 1 tablet are administered 5 consecutive days. A DOUBLE BLIND, RANDOMIZED, PLACEBO CONTROLLED STUDY TO ASSESS THE EFFICACY OF KETOCONAZOLE FOR REDUCING THE RISK OF OVARIAN HYPERSTIMULATION SYNDROME

ABSTRACT Background: In order to evaluate the role ofketoconazole in the prevention of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) undergoing ovarian stimulation with gonadotropins, a prospective, randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled study was done on one-hundred and nine PCOS women that had been refeiTed to be treated by gonadotropi...

Plasma concentrations of nitrate during the menstrual cycle, ovarian stimulation and ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome.

BACKGROUND Nitric oxide (NO) is predominantly a locally acting mediator, affecting several functions in the human female reproductive tract. In vivo, it is quickly metabolized to its stable end product nitrate, which is cleared by the kidney. METHODS AND RESULTS The aim of the present study was to evaluate possible fluctuations of plasma nitrate concentrations during the menstrual cycle, ovar...

Changes in Coagulation and Fibrinolytic Indices in Women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Undergoing Controlled Ovarian Hyperstimulation

Background. Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) women undergoing in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET) treatment always attain a low cumulative pregnancy rate disaccording with the satisfactory number of oocytes. Objective. We aim to evaluate the status of coagulation and fibrinolytic system in PCOS patients undergoing controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) process. Method. Of t...

The Utrogestan and hMG protocol in patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome undergoing controlled ovarian hyperstimulation during IVF/ICSI treatments

Poor oocyte quality is a main concern for decreased reproductive outcomes in women with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) during controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH). A primary way to improve oocyte quality is to optimize the COH protocol. It was demonstrated that the viable embryo rate per oocyte retrieved in the Utrogestan and hMG protocol, a novel regimen based on frozen-thawed embryo ...

[Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome in a spontaneous pregnancy].

BACKGROUND Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) is considered to be an iatrogenic complication of ovulation induction therapy. However, OHSS may rarely be associated with spontaneous ovulatory cycles, usually in multiple or molar gestations or hypothyroidism. Clinical manifestations vary and may be potentially fatal in severe cases. CASE REPORT A 28-year-old primigravid, with no history o...
